The Ongoing Plantain Multiplication Project 2025

Empowering Farmers, Boosting Food Security, and Sustaining Livelihoods At THOF Group, our commitment to sustainable agriculture and community empowerment has always been at the heart of what we do. In line with our mission to combat food insecurity and unemployment, especially among youth in Africa, we proudly launched The Plantain Multiplication Project 2025 — a bold and innovative initiative designed to expand plantain production through modern agricultural techniques. This ongoing project is more than just a farming activity — it’s a grassroots movement, a pilot program built on collaboration, education, and impact. What is Plantain Multiplication? Why Plantain? Why Now? Plantain is a staple food and a vital source of nutrition in many African households. It is not only rich in fiber, potassium, and vitamins but also enjoys high market demand year-round. Despite its importance, many farmers still struggle to access quality planting material, leading to low yields and poor crop performance. That’s where our project comes
